The Dummies books are a good starting point for all of us that are new to security. As you advanced in this field, I would highly recommend to read CISSP Books (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) as there are lots of information on security. It is also a good certification to obtain if you want to further your career in IT Security or to gain more knowledge. It did gave me broader knowledge on IT security and it helps out in tendering security projects.

As for CISA Books (Certified Information System Auditor), it covers a great deal in auditing, security review, risk assessment and DR (Disaster Recovery).
